There are plenty of people who find their way into property management by chance. Meagan Campbell is not one of them.


Hospitality has been part of her life for as long as she can remember. Meagan grew up in a hotel in Amsterdam, where front desks, housekeeping standards, guest expectations, and the constant problem-solving that happens behind the scenes were simply part of everyday life. Her parents also owned a vacation home abroad, giving her an early understanding of the other side of the industry: what it means to place your trust in someone else to care for a home when you cannot be there yourself.


Those experiences shaped the way Meagan approaches property management today. She understands that a vacation rental is both a significant investment and a deeply personal asset- and that exceptional management requires far more than coordinating cleanings and responding to messages.


Before becoming the owner of Island Life Property Services, Meagan built her career in human resources management, holding leadership roles focused on recruiting, training, operations, and developing high-performing teams. That experience became instrumental in building the dependable team and operational structure behind Island Life today.


Meagan’s path to ownership was equally hands-on. She first joined Island Life as a member of the team and learned the business from the inside out. She worked directly in the day-to-day operation, identified where standards could be raised, and earned her way into ownership through results.


Since taking over the company, Meagan has grown the portfolio, strengthened operations, expanded services, and raised expectations across every part of the guest and homeowner experience. Her approach combines the standards of professional hospitality with the responsiveness and personal attention of a locally operated company.


Today, Island Life Property Services manages a growing portfolio of vacation homes across Hilton Head Island. Behind every property is a team built around consistency, accountability, communication, and attention to detail.
