There are a lot of people who “fall into” property management. Meagan Campbell is not one of them.
She grew up in a hotel in Amsterdam, where front desks, housekeeping standards, guest expectations, and behind-the-scenes problem-solving were simply part of everyday life. Her parents also owned a vacation home abroad, giving her firsthand understanding of what it’s like to trust someone else to care for your property from a distance. Those early experiences shaped her understanding of both hospitality and homeownership, and they continue to influence the way she manages properties today.
Before taking ownership of Island Life Property Services, Meagan built a strong background in human resources management, working in leadership roles focused on recruiting, training, and building high-performing teams. That experience became the foundation for the dependable, well-organized team behind Island Life today.
Meagan originally joined Island Life as part of the team. She didn’t inherit the company; she earned her way into ownership by learning every aspect of the operation from the inside and raising the standards along the way. Since taking over, Meagan has expanded the portfolio, strengthened operations, and elevated the overall guest and homeowner experience through higher hospitality standards, improved communication, and dependable systems.
Today, Island Life Property Services manages a growing portfolio of vacation homes across Hilton Head Island, delivering consistent standards that both homeowners and guests rely on.
